Rahmina
Privacy Policy
How the Rahmina app and this website handle your data, where it is stored, and what your rights are.
Last updated: October 28, 2026
In short
- The app does not ask for an account, email address or phone number.
- Your pregnancy details and preferences are stored only on your device; they are never sent to us or to any server.
- The app contains no analytics, advertising or crash reporting tools.
- This website uses Google Analytics only if you allow it. You can withdraw your consent at any time.
Data controller
Rahmina is developed by Talha Seven, who is responsible for the data processing described in this policy. For any privacy questions or requests, write to support@rahmina.com.
The Rahmina app
Rahmina works local-first. The information you enter while using the app is stored in the app's database on your device:
- Your pregnancy dates
- Your language and appearance preferences
- The consents you have given and when you gave them
Pregnancy information is health data, a special category of personal data. On first launch, the app asks for two separate consents: one for processing health data and one for showing religious content. These consents are also stored only on your device.
This information is never sent to us, to a Rahmina server or to any third party, so we have no access to it. If your device's own backup feature (such as iCloud or Google backup) is turned on, the data may be included in your device backup; those backups do not reach us either.
To delete your data, use "Reset data" in Settings. Uninstalling the app also deletes it.
The app contains no analytics, advertising or crash reporting tools; how you use the app is not tracked.
Purchases
Rahmina Plus is not available for purchase yet. Once it is, payment will be handled by the App Store or Google Play. Your payment details never reach us; they are subject to Apple's or Google's privacy policies.
To verify your purchase and let you restore it on a new device, we will use RevenueCat. RevenueCat does not process your name or email address; it processes an anonymous user ID created by the app and the details of the purchase transaction.
External links
The app and this website link to sources for verses, hadith and scientific content. When you open a link, that site's own privacy policy applies.
This website
This website is hosted by Vercel. When you visit, the server processes technical logs such as your IP address, browser details and the page you requested, to keep the service secure and running.
Apart from these logs and the consent-based measurement described below, the website collects no data from you. There are no forms, accounts or ads.
Google Analytics and cookies
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the website is used. Google Analytics loads only if you choose "Accept" in the cookie notice. If you do not consent, no request is sent to Google.
If you consent, the following is collected:
- The pages you view and how long you stay
- The link or search engine that brought you here
- Device type, operating system and browser
- Approximate location (country and city)
Google Analytics 4 does not log your IP address. Advertising and personalisation features are turned off, and the data is not used for advertising. User- and event-level data is deleted automatically after 2 months.
Google Analytics uses cookies whose names start with _ga to recognise return visits; these cookies last 2 years. Your cookie choice itself is not stored in a cookie but in your browser's local storage.
Google Analytics is provided by Google LLC, and data may be transferred to servers in the United States. This transfer is based on the explicit consent you give in the cookie notice. Google LLC is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
You can withdraw your consent at any time. Choose "Decline" from the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of the page; Google Analytics will no longer load and the _ga cookies will be deleted.
Legal basis
- Health data in the app: your explicit consent (KVKK Art. 6; GDPR Art. 9(2)(a)). This data is processed only on your device.
- Google Analytics and the transfer abroad: your explicit consent (KVKK Art. 5(1) and Art. 9; GDPR Art. 6(1)(a) and Art. 49(1)(a)).
- Website technical logs: our legitimate interest in running the service securely (KVKK Art. 5(2)(f); GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
- Purchases (once available): performance of the contract with you (KVKK Art. 5(2)(c); GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
Your rights
Under Article 11 of Turkey's data protection law (KVKK) and the GDPR, you have the right to:
- Find out whether and how your personal data is processed
- Ask for incomplete or inaccurate data to be corrected
- Ask for your data to be deleted
- Object to processing and withdraw any consent you have given
- Find out which third parties your data has been shared with
To make a request, write to support@rahmina.com. We will reply within 30 days at the latest.
Because app data exists only on your device, you can view and delete it yourself. If you are not satisfied with our reply, you can complain to Turkey's Personal Data Protection Authority or to the data protection authority in your country.
Children
Rahmina and this website are not designed for people under 16 and do not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes
We update this policy as the app or the website changes. The current version is always published on this page, and the date at the top changes accordingly.
